Sooo, I know it’s been a while since I’ve been in here, and while I haven’t been all that active on the writing front over the past couple of years, people have often asked me if I’m still writing. The answer to that is yes, but as I have said before, I don’t have anything new that is ready for posting or publishing just yet.
What I can say, however, is that I have been constantly tinkering with stories, both old and new, while also working toward finally achieving one of my long held goals, which has always been to have one of my stories published.
I am now pleased to be able to say that I have finally achieved that goal, with the help of some friends in my home town and the small businesses they operate! This week I took delivery of a box containing some copies of my story ‘The Mardi Gras Murders’, which represent a considerable amount of time and effort spent on this project this year, and I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out! They are A5 size (approx. 21cm X 14.85cm) and 523 pages.
The guys who have published them for me will have some available to purchase in the near future, so I will make those details available once known (once they can set up a web page or put them on ebay or whatever — just not sure how that’s going to happen just yet).
Anyhow, it was a thrill to finally hold a copy of my very own book in my hot little hands and I’m excited that I will finally be able to share these with those who have been asking for printed copies over the years!
Now to get the next one ready (After We Danced), which will be followed by all of the stories in that series, then on to my other stories. Exciting times!

Referencing you not having anything in the pipeline for posting – just re read Prisoner of Carronne and wondering if that might be in the near future ?

Thank you Rick. I still have ‘Prisoner’ in the back of my mind, so yes, it will eventually be completed. originally I had it planned as this massive tale, but I’m thinking now that it might be better suited to have ‘Prisoner’ as one story in a series. This will make it easier to write, but with a series of stories it will still end up as the massive tale I had originally planned . . . I hope.
