Welcome to a world where everything isn’t quite as it seems.
For many hundreds of years the brave and loyal knights of the Order of the Dragon have served and protected the King and the people of the Seven Lands of Candar, but when they are defeated in battle by the forces of the usurper, the Dark Lord, Septimus, the entire known world changes.
As the Dark Lord assumes power, helped only by a treaty with the Grand Council, the surviving knights scatter to the four winds, helping where they are needed and doing what good they can, all the while being hunted down by the forces of Septimus, who shall not rest until every last knight has been disposed of, along with the two surviving heirs of the King. Only then will he be able to bypass the Council and claim what he sees as rightfully his: the Golden Crown of Jeebath.
This is the story of those who are standing in his way!

Wow again another great story, your very talented

    • ponyboy63 says:

Thank you Roy. This story came about because I had a desire to write some stories with different styles and subjects. I’m really looking forward to sinking my teeth into it again! 🙂

  2. Roy Algar says:

Please do,I love your different story styles .

  3. Doug Jones says:

Thank you for posting the story here on your site. I already liked what I had read elsewhere in this story, now I get to read it as you post it here. This story is turning out to be one of my favorites. Are you still thinking about writing a sequel to Beyond Salvation?

    • ponyboy63 says:

Thanks Doug. I’m really enjoying immersing myself in this world once more! 🙂
And yes, there will eventually be a sequel to Beyond Salvation, but as I’ve said for some time now, my focus for the immediate future at least, is to finish some of my outstanding/unfinished stories first! (although having said that, there are a few shorts that are sneaking in as I get the ideas for them for the Thompson River series).
      🙂

  4. Chet Thompson says:

    Which chapter did you revise?

    • ponyboy63 says:

They are all revised chapters … the story was on my old website and I’m re-working them before re-posting them on this site. I posted Chapter 5 today. 🙂

  5. Chet Thompson says:

Sorry, I remember you saying that now. Sorry Senior Moment!!!

  6. Markus Dorst says:

So far I love your story. Yet, to call coffee “Java” in a story set in such time and surroundings makes it sound oddly american. Change the word! Greetings from Germany, Markus

    • ponyboy63 says:

      Thank you Markus!
I did wonder what name I should use for something like coffee and in the end settled on java, simply because it was more of an ‘old world’ name than anything else I could think of (I don’t see it as a purely American term). After doing a quick Google search, however, I can see what the origins of that term were, and while it is still an old world kind of name, you are right … it doesn’t really fit, does it? lol
Unless I get any better suggestions, I think I will change it to ‘brew’, for the time being anyhow! 😉
      Thanks for the tip!
